Thousands of teens are pulling in huge profits using nothing more than the internet and there imagination. The internet is the ideal place for teens to start earning, because it’s an even playing field. No one knows that you’re a teen unless you tell them, so you’re not discriminated against. The 3 most popular ways that teens are using to make money online are: Blogging (writing about things), Making a website, and filling out surveys.

Make money blogging? How do you do that? It’s pretty simple really, just write! Things that you like, things that you don’t like, things that you find interesting, or maybe just write specifically about your favorite hobby. If you write about something that interests you, there are millions of other people that will be interested in the exact same topic. But how can writing make you money? Interesting well-written content will bring traffic to your website. Traffic to your website will bring you money. Squidoo and Hubpages are a great place to get started with this, they will give you 50% of the revenue every time someone clicks an advertisement on your blog. It’s very easy, they take care of the advertisements and collecting the money, you just need to write! Run a quick Google search on “Squidoo” or “Hubpages” if you’re interested in blogging for money. I wouldn’t recommend this to everyone, it’s only going to be profitable if you enjoy writing. If you don’t enjoy writing, it’s going to be like pulling teeth.

Now, filling out surveys isn’t exactly a “job”, but it’s going to make you money just like a “real job”, on a consistent basis, so who cares? What you’re doing is basically data entry, you’re getting paid to enter information about what you like, what you don’t like, what your favorite brands of shoes are, etc. Advertisers pay for this information, so that they know who to sell there products to. This is essentially the easiest and fastest way to make money as a teen. Sign up is free, it doesn’t require a credit card or anything of that sort, it’s not just an internet scam. Thousands of teens (including my self) are earning well over 10$/hour doing this. If you’d like to give it a try, click the link on the bottom of the page.

Building your own website is very similar to blogging, except it requires a great deal more time and you’ll have to invest some money. With that said, it’s going to produce more money than blogging or survey filling. Building a website has been made pretty easy; there are plenty of website builders available for free on the internet. You still need to paid for the hosting and the domain though. To learn more about building your own website, run a Google search on “How to build a website.”

These are just a few ways teens are using to make money on the internet. They necessarily aren’t “Jobs”, but they make money just like jobs do, so why should that matter? If you’re interested in learning more about making money on the internet, visit the below link.
